The position of Client Relationship Manager at Brook & Whittle demands a proven history of targeted account expansion and the continuous oversight of both new and established accounts. The Client Relationship Manager is accountable for every facet of the sales cycle, encompassing lead generation, account initiation, and the ongoing management of accounts. Following the successful closure of sales and account setup, the Manager will be tasked with identifying fresh avenues for growth within the account, enhancing volume and revenue through the extensive product range offered by Brook & Whittle. A deep understanding of both new and existing accounts is crucial for success in this role.


Collaboration with marketing and occasionally production teams will be essential to formulate and refine sales strategies and explore new applications for our offerings. The ideal candidate will possess the capability to proactively pursue new sales opportunities through networking and outreach.


Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and nurture relationships with account stakeholders to assess growth potential.
  • Articulate our products and services to prospective clients during the initial sales engagement and introduce new offerings to current accounts.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Production on new applications for specific products.
  • Address inquiries and resolve client concerns to secure new business.
  • Evaluate product performance, identify improvement areas, and monitor competitive products to enhance sales strategies and expand your portfolio.
  • Define success metrics for each account by analyzing unique opportunities and understanding their label printing requirements.
  • Assist in the formulation of product pricing and positioning strategies to capture and grow business.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the customer experience, identifying product gaps and generating innovative ideas.
  • Manage vendor relationships as necessary to ensure compliance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and oversee workflow and production timelines.
  • Communicate with clients regularly regarding production deadlines and shipping schedules.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including strong telephone etiquette. A genuine passion for assisting clients in solving their challenges and a commitment to advocating for their success.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in client management and key relationship oversight, including a sales-focused role managing a growing portfolio.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ownership of the sales process to effectively develop and manage accounts. Ability to set realistic goals and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Proven capacity to juggle multiple projects and priorities throughout the day.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a willingness to contribute as a supportive and considerate member of a high-performing team.
  • Proven track record of developing new and existing accounts to enhance product penetration and increase revenue year-over-year.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Typically, the work environment is an office setting, though there may be brief periods spent in manufacturing areas with exposure to dust, noise, and temperature variations.
  • Constant requirements include hearing, speaking, articulating, and manual dexterity.
  • Regular requirements include standing, walking, color vision, grasping, reaching, and prolonged sitting.
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of items up to 25 lbs may be necessary.
