Job Overview:

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced Environmental Control and Life Support Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing life support systems for our spacecraft. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and be part of a team that is pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development.

About the Role:
  • Design and develop life support systems, including air revitalization and crew systems.
  • Implement operating procedures and resolve system malfunctions.
  • Analyze customer design proposals and evaluate feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements.

Responsibilities: Develop new analytical test rigs, operate analytical equipment, test air revitalization and crew systems components, determine and manage schedule and budget, show system and component compliance to Blue and NASA technical requirements.

Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role. A degree in Chemical Engineering or related field is required.

Location: Renton, WA

Salary: $160,000 - $220,000 per year

Benefits: Relocation assistance provided. Travel expected up to 5% of the time.
