About the Role:

As an Advanced Anesthesia Specialist, you will be part of our highly respected team at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, providing exceptional care to patients requiring surgery and other procedures. Located in downtown Seattle, this position offers a diverse caseload, including obstetrics in our state-of-the-art Virginia Mason Birth Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality anesthesia services to patients with a focus on patient safety, quality, and comfort
  • Work collaboratively as part of a hospital-employed team-based anesthesia care model
  • Participate in research-based patient care protocols to ensure evidence-based practice

Qualifications:

  • Current Washington State Registered Nurse License and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License
  • Current Certification as a CRNA through the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
  • Able to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice
