Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at the Ford-Lincoln Veteran Careers Program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing complex repairs and maintenance on vehicles, ensuring they are returned to our customers in excellent condition.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex vehicle problems using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations, to ensure vehicles are running efficiently and safely.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and service consultants to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technical training and certifications to maintain our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines and exceed customer expectations.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience working as a Technician in an automotive service department.
  • Valid driver's license and a clear driving record.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements, including drug screening, Motor Vehicle record report, and background investigation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a shop environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
