At Sentient Digital, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager to join our Norfolk, VA team. This is a 100% on-site position, requiring the chosen candidate to be at either the customer's Norfolk Naval Station location or SDi's Downtown Norfolk office based on need.

About the Role

This is an immediate career opportunity for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and manage complex IT-related projects and teams within schedule, cost, and scope. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of all elements of scope, time, cost, risk, quality, integration, procurement, stakeholders, human resources, and communications management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Full life cycle IT project management and/or program management support of a wide variety of DoD projects
  • Leading a team: working closely with technical professionals to ensure strict adherence to scope, schedule, and budget, and to ensure successful project execution
  • Regularly interfacing with senior management, design engineers, customer stakeholders, implementation team members, vendors, and subcontractors

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

Candidates must have a B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a similar technical background and 8+ years of experience successfully managing and leading the successful realization of complex projects with budgets in excess of $10M. Active PMP certification is also required.
