Job Summary

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Pine River, MN. As a member of our care team, you will provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed
  • Administer medications or treatments as ordered
  • Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary
  • Counsel residents, family members, and/or resident advocate on prevention and treatment plans
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
