Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Adjunct Professor, Mathematics to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching mathematics courses to students at our institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach mathematics courses in accordance with the approved course descriptions and syllabi established by the institution.
  • Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching methods to promote student learning and success.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students in a timely and constructive manner.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of mathematics curriculum.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the department chair or dean.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in mathematics or a related field.
  • Teaching experience in mathematics, preferably at the post-secondary level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in mathematics or a related field.
  • Experience with curriculum development and implementation.
  • Knowledge of educational technology and its applications in the classroom.
  • Ability to teach a variety of mathematics courses, including calculus, algebra, and statistics.
