Adjunct Professor of Health Information Management

We are seeking a qualified Adjunct Professor to teach courses in Health Information Management at Collin College. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and delivering engaging coursework, meeting professional standards, and performing other duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities- Teach courses in accordance with the schedule of classes and follow approved course descriptions and syllabi.
- Teach on one or more of the college's campuses or off-site locations, including evening and weekend programs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Associate Dean/Director.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in any discipline.
- Hold one of the following professional certifications: Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT).
- Ability to work in a sedentary environment with occasional standing and walking.
