Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Professor of Geology to teach courses in geology at our institution. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in geology or a related field and experience in teaching geology courses. The professor will be responsible for preparing and delivering coursework, meeting professional standards for faculty, and performing other duties as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Teach geology courses in accordance with the schedule of classes and follow the approved course descriptions and syllabi established by the Division faculty and administered by the associate dean/director.
  • Teaching assignments may be on one or more of the college's campuses or off-site locations and may include evening and weekend programs.
  • May include Dual Credit courses.

Supplemental Functions:
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with college policies, procedures, and core values.

Requirements:
Master's degree in geology or a related field. Teaching experience is desired. This position is Security Sensitive, therefore, candidates will be subject to a criminal background check.
