Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team at Sutter Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic radiographic examinations, operating complex stationary and mobile diagnostic equipment, and ensuring that routine and priority tasks are completed within established departmental time frames.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a range of diagnostic radiographic examinations, including routine and specialized procedures.
  • Operate complex diagnostic equipment, including stationary and mobile units.
  • Ensure timely completion of routine and priority tasks, adhering to departmental standards.
  • Prepare for and assist physicians in radiological diagnostic and/or guidance imaging during invasive procedures.
  • Explain procedures, medications, and contrast media to patients, alleviating fear and anxiety.
  • Mentor and educate students and new technologists, fostering a constructive environment.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • ARRT-American Register of Radiologic Technologist certification and CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) verification.
  • Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
  • Radiology Fluoroscopy certification within 180 days of hire (if required).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience in diagnostic radiology.
  • General knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies and procedures.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a 10-hour shift, variable days of the week, and rotating weekends. The pay range is $47.24 to $59.04 per hour.
