Job Summary

Sutter Health is seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist II to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized radiology procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of diagnostic radiographic examinations, including routine and specialized procedures.
  • Operate complex stationary and mobile diagnostic equipment, ensuring accurate and precise results.
  • Ensure timely completion of routine and priority tasks, adhering to established departmental time frames.
  • Assist physicians in radiological diagnostic and/or guidance imaging during invasive procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures, medications, and associated biological effects in a clear and professional manner.
  • Mentor and educate students and new technologists, fostering a constructive environment that promotes skill development and confidence.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • ARRT-American Register of Radiologic Technologist certification and CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist licensure.
  • Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.
  • Radiology Fluoroscopy certification within 180 days of hire, if required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience in diagnostic radiology.
  • General knowledge of diagnostic radiology principles, procedures, views, and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing assignments and working within standardized policies and procedures.

This role requires a regular full-time schedule, with variable days and rotating weekends. The successful candidate will be a team player, committed to delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our diagnostic imaging department.
