Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and courteous Hospitality Front Desk Representative to provide outstanding service to our guests at Courtyard by Marriott Pentagon Alexandria. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our visitors, ensuring a warm welcome and a seamless check-in experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurate Record Keeping: Maintain precise and current information regarding guest accounts.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with housekeeping to confirm that accommodations are prepared for incoming guests.
  • Guest Interaction: Welcome and register guests, facilitate check-ins and check-outs, issue room keys, and securely handle payment information.
  • Booking Management: Oversee room reservations through various channels, addressing inquiries related to room availability, amenities, rates, and special requests.
  • Customer Support: Address and resolve guest complaints and concerns effectively.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with reservation management software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience in handling phone communications and managing high-pressure situations.
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Preferred: At least one year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector.
