Job Title: Site Supervisor - Princeton Young Achievers Program

At the Greater Somerset County YMCA, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Princeton Young Achievers Program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our program, creating a fun and safe environment for children, and building strong relationships with families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise groups of children and lead staff in delivering a high-quality program.
  • Plan and implement a varied and challenging program of activities for children, including homework time, enrichment activities, and organized physical activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with children and families, providing a positive and welcoming environment.
  • Communicate effectively with the Youth Development Team and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the program.
  • Manage daily snack and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and maintain site/room, equipment, and materials in an orderly and safe manner.
Requirements:
  • At least two years of experience working with children in a school, after-school, or camp setting.
  • Sound judgment, ability to prioritize, and work independently.
  • Ability to work flexibly with a collaborative team of staff members and volunteers.
  • Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • Commitment to the goals and objectives of the Princeton YMCA programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or above in Elementary Education, Recreation, or comparable experience.
