Patient Care Technician Medical Unit

Trinity Health is seeking a skilled Patient Care Technician to join our Medical Unit team. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, working closely with our nursing staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and assistance with daily living activities.
- Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning.
- Collect and process lab specimens, including blood and urine samples.
- Perform point-of-care testing, such as blood glucose monitoring.
- Document patient information and required data in a timely and accurate manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
