At Hispanic Technology Executive Council, we strive to create a workplace that fosters growth and development for our employees. As a Business Controls Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving and executing internal control discipline and operational excellence within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical and administrative support for processes and tools to drive adherence to enterprise-wide standards.
  • Monitor and test controls, implementing quality assurance and quality control processes within the organization.
  • Evaluate data to identify issues and control improvements for remediation.
  • Design and implement optimized controls and enhanced Quality Assurance (QA) practices to support business continuity efforts.
  • Conduct quality inspection reviews to enhance employee performance and control effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience with risk management, AML Know-Your-Client/Client Due Diligence (KYC/CDD) disciplines in a global investment bank.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interact and influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Data management experience, with a strong understanding of data quality and governance.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite experience, with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
