Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the upkeep and repair of the facility's infrastructure and equipment.
  • Manage and support the engineering team, ensuring their professional development and well-being.
  • Prioritize tasks from the Maintenance Management System in collaboration with department heads, assigning duties to maintenance personnel and monitoring the quality of completed work.
  • Make informed decisions regarding repair costs and resource allocation.
  • Continuously seek innovative and efficient methods for machinery maintenance and repair.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to foster a cooperative approach to maintenance activities.
  • Guide, mentor, and set performance objectives for engineers to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Provide necessary coverage during weekends in alignment with site operational needs.
Language Proficiency: Ability to comprehend and interpret technical documents such as schematics, safety regulations, operational guidelines, and maintenance procedures. Proficient in drafting routine reports and communicating effectively with colleagues and management.

Analytical Skills: Capable of addressing practical challenges and navigating diverse variables in situations with limited standardization. Proficient in interpreting various forms of instructions, whether written, verbal, or visual.

Technical Skills: Competent in utilizing computer systems for troubleshooting, completing work orders, and performing related tasks.

Educational Background:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a corrugated manufacturing setting (engineering preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in supervisory or management roles.
  • Strong communication skills and a systematic approach to work.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Preferred engineering qualifications.
  • Experience in mechanical, electrical, and automation fields.
  • Familiarity with corrugator or converting manufacturing processes.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and a results-driven mindset.
  • Strong sense of urgency and a service-oriented approach.
  • Effective managerial capabilities.
  • Experience with SAP systems.
Job-Specific Technical Requirements:
  • Mandatory maintenance qualifications in mechanical, electrical, and automation disciplines.
  • Preferred experience in corrugator or converting manufacturing processes.
  • Dedication to continuous improvement and achieving results.
  • Strong sense of urgency and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Managerial expertise.
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain a Boiler License.
