Job Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our facilities, ensuring that all systems are functioning properly and efficiently. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilities Management: Inspect facilities periodically to identify maintenance needs and develop plans to address them.
  • Scheduling and Task Allocation: Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate tasks to the maintenance team to ensure timely completion.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, supervise, and train maintenance technicians to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties.
  • Quality Control: Oversee tradesmen during installations, repairs, or maintenance to ensure that work is done to the highest standards.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory of materials and equipment to ensure that we have what we need to complete maintenance tasks.
  • Budgeting and Compliance: Contribute to the development of the maintenance budget and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: AA or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in supervision, preferably in a maintenance or facilities management role.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge of building systems, health and safety practices, and budgeting and performance management.
  • Leadership: Excellent planning and leadership abilities, with a focus on quality and safety.
