Role Summary:

The Office of University Risk Management plays a pivotal role in supporting the University’s strategic objectives by creating frameworks that enhance academic and creative endeavors while addressing the evolving needs of our community. We are seeking a dedicated professional to fulfill the role of ADA Compliance Program Manager. The ideal candidate will possess a proactive mindset, a strong ethical foundation, and a commitment to diversity and inclusivity.

Reporting to the Director of Risk Management, the ADA Compliance Program Manager will uphold the academic mission of the University in accordance with relevant executive orders. This role is essential in ensuring that individuals with disabilities have equitable access to all University programs, activities, and services. Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing campus-wide adherence to federal and state disability legislation and University policies.
  • Acting as a liaison for the disabled community, providing essential training and support.
  • Managing accommodation requests and appeals, and assessing the physical campus environment.
  • Ensuring that all relevant policies and procedures are accessible and communicated effectively.
  • Administering the University’s ADA budget and consulting with legal counsel on compliance matters.

Essential Qualifications:

A Master’s Degree and a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience are required.   • Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

A thorough background check is mandatory for employment consideration.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced degrees in related fields and arbitration skills are advantageous.

Required Certification:

A valid California Driver's License is necessary.
