Job Overview

Delaware North Sportservice is seeking a seasonal Culinary Team Leader to enhance our operations. The ideal candidate is a seasoned Cook who thrives in a collaborative and dynamic atmosphere, dedicated to providing outstanding food service and culinary quality to our patrons. Compensation

$25.00 / hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all kitchen staff and ensure food preparation meets quality standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and ensure kitchen equipment is functional
  • Supervise proper food handling, including breakdown, rotation, labeling, dating, and storage
  • Execute opening, closing, and side work tasks
  • Work to keep food costs within established parameters
  • Collaborate with team members and management to meet guest satisfaction
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • No formal education required
  • Minimum of two years' experience as a line cook, including supervisory roles
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead in a fast-paced setting
  • Detail-oriented and attentive
  • Basic math skills to understand and follow recipe measurements

Physical Requirements

  • Manual dexterity to chop, mix, blend, and whip various foods
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy pans, up to 50 lbs
  • Capability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift

Shift Information

Day shifts, evening shifts, weekends, and event-based schedules are available.
