Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate construction activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Supervise and train construction staff, including foremen, laborers, and equipment operators.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Monitor and control costs, including materials, labor, and equipment expenses.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and owners to ensure project goals are met.
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure high-quality construction.
  • Manage and maintain equipment, including dozers, motor graders, excavators, and other heavy machinery.
  • Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in civil construction, including supervisory or management roles.
  • Expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints, fine grading, storm drain installation, and excavation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train construction staff.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple projects and deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
