Job Summary

As a Project Engineer at Prince Contracting, you will be responsible for reviewing contracts and specifications, assisting the Project Manager and Project Superintendent as needed, and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers to resolve project challenges and conflicts. You will also assist with schedule preparations, quantity reporting, project costs, and forecasting, as well as obtain pricing from subcontractors and vendors. Additionally, you will manage document control, review Heavy Jobdaily reports, and prepare technical submittal lists and project progress schedules.

Key Responsibilities

* Review contracts and specifications in their entirety
* Assist Project Manager and Project Superintendent as requested
* Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to resolve project challenges and conflicts
* Assist with schedule preparations and updates
* Assist with quantity reporting, project costs, and forecasting
* Obtain pricing from subcontractors and vendors
* Manage document control
* Review Heavy Jobdaily reports for accuracy
* Prepare technical submittal lists and project progress schedules

Requirements

* S. in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Construction Engineering and Management (CEM)
* 8 years' experience in the civil construction field (office/field role)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Primavera 6
