Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to coordinate patient care in our Medical/Surgical Unit. The ideal candidate will utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, recognizing patient rights and cultural diversities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement patient care plans, prioritizing needs and making sound judgments.
  • Monitor patient clinical status, assessing for significant changes and communicating effectively with the team.
  • Administer medication safely and perform venipuncture and IV starts.
  • Collaborate with physicians and team members to ensure patient needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Active NYS RN license
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
  • BLS certification
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a medical/surgical setting
