Key Responsibilities- Install and Maintain Radio Systems: Install and maintain two-way radio systems, including base stations, repeaters, and mobile radios, to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and Repair Radio Equipment: Troubleshoot and repair radio equipment, including diagnosing faults and replacing faulty components, to minimize downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conduct Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular preventative maintenance and routine inspections of radio equipment to prevent equipment failure and ensure optimal performance.
- Research and Evaluate System Problems: Research and evaluate system problems and recommend solutions to improve system performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Sales Team: Work with the sales team to assist in coordinating project installation/deployments and provide technical expertise to ensure successful project execution.
- Install and Remove Electronic Equipment: Install and/or remove electronic equipment such as radio interoperability gateways, remote controls, and external speakers that relate to communications systems.
- Assist with Dispatch and Remote Communications Installations: Assist with the specifications and design of dispatch and remote communications installations to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Participate in On-Call Rotation: Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency call-outs, providing technical support and assistance to customers as needed.
- Communicate Effectively: Communicate professionally with co-workers and customers daily, providing clear and concise technical information and support.

Requirements- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in land mobile radio systems, conventional analog, digital, NXDN trunking systems, P25 (Atlas Preferred), voted systems, IP-based systems, consoles, and I/O interconnections.
- Certifications: FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License, FCIA, NABER, or equivalent industry certification is a plus.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent and valid driver's license required.
