Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nutrition Attendant to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a Nutrition Attendant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest quality of food service in our healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, family members, and staff
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks to patients with various dietary needs
  • Maintain a clean and safe food service environment, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital standards
  • Collaborate with the dietitian and other healthcare team members to ensure accurate and timely food delivery
  • Operate food service equipment and maintain inventory of food and supplies
Requirements
  • Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements
  • National Food Handler Card
  • 1 year of customer service, computer skills, patient interaction, and food service experience
  • Healthcare food service experience using therapeutic diets
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in high-volume call centers
