About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team at Actalent. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for managing capital projects, troubleshooting, conducting downtime and quality investigations, and engaging in tooling design and design for manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage capital projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Conduct thorough troubleshooting and root cause analysis to identify and resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Investigate and analyze downtime and quality issues to implement corrective actions.
  • Design and develop tooling and fixtures to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement design for manufacturing principles.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of robotic welding, welding, and machining processes.
  • Experience with tooling and fixture design, including design for manufacturing principles.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong project management and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Work Environment:

The successful candidate will split their time between the manufacturing floor and office, engaging in both hands-on and supervisory roles to support ongoing and new projects.
