Job Title: Budget Associate

At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, we are committed to ending cancer for life. As a Budget Associate in our Clinical Research Finance Unit, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate entry of financial data into our Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform detailed-oriented data entry tasks with significant financial impact
  • Review, monitor, and update financial details for all clinical trials
  • Input and update data into spreadsheets and databases as needed
  • Follow up and coordinate with CR Finance Managers, Budget Analysts, and Revenue Management Specialists
  • Assist with preparation of budget-related documents and financial analyses
  • Liaise with Clinical Research Administration (CRA) staff, including CR Operations, Protocol Activation Core (PAC), and Clinical Research Information Technology (CRIT)
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Healthcare Administration, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Intermediate database and financial analysis skills needed to ensure comprehensive management of financial activity
  • Experience with complex databases preferred
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Experience and knowledge of clinical research desirable
