The role of the Postdoctoral Research Scientist is centered on the exploration of neurodegenerative disorders. This position involves a comprehensive investigation into the mechanisms underlying diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Alzheimer's disease, and Parkinson's disease.
Key Responsibilities:
- In Vivo Research: Conducting experiments utilizing animal models to study disease progression.
- Biochemical Investigations: Analyzing molecular pathways and identifying potential biomarkers.
- Cell Culture and Imaging Techniques: Employing advanced imaging methods to examine neuronal dysfunction.
- Experimental Methodologies: Engaging in cell culture, metabolic analysis, imaging, and various biochemical assays. In vivo work includes treatment administration, biofluid collection, and behavioral assessments.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $55,000.00 to $62,000.00.
