Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Scheduler to provide construction scheduling services for a confidential client in the East. The successful candidate will attend all OAC meetings and other meetings as directed by Overaa Construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and update schedules, daily, weekly, and monthly, including time impact analyses (TIA's) as scopes of work are added to the project.
  • Provide updates to key team members on the progress of project completion.
  • Prepare weekly look ahead schedules and Overaa's finish early tracking log for submission to Overaa's PM by noon on Friday's.
  • Implement cost-loaded scheduling that interfaces with project billing and construction activities.
  • Communicate schedule status and proactively communicate expectations early and often to avoid delays.
  • Assist project managers with change orders by providing schedule analyses of schedule impacts.
  • Assist project managers with schedule planning, coordinating tasks, and monitoring scheduling timelines of scheduled activities.
  • Provide critical path analyses, identify problem areas, and help create scheduling solutions.
  • Use Primavera P6 and the Microsoft Office Suite, and coordinate with the Overaa corporate scheduling manager.
  • Attend the Owner meeting weekly and provide updates on schedule.

Requirements

  • Strong skills in software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Bluebeam, Adobe, Access Database, and P-6.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment.
  • Consistent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Takes initiative to understand all aspects of what needs to be done to complete an assignment.
  • Self-starter with a learning attitude.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on planning, organization, and time management.
