About the Position
We are seeking an experienced coordinator to join our team and provide leadership for the STROKE and ST Elevation Myocardial Infarction (STEMI) program in New Mexico. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health education, experience working with healthcare providers and EMS services, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate efforts among facilities and EMS services to promote participation in registry and accreditation processes
- Collaborate with EMS Regions to develop infrastructure for Stroke/STEMI care
- Provide training and technical assistance to facilities and EMS services on Stroke/STEMI systems of care
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement

Working Conditions
This position requires frequent travel throughout the state, including overnight stays. The coordinator will work in an office setting with extensive use of personal computer and phone. Some sitting, standing, stooping, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds may be required.
