Transportation Coordinator for Medical Services

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Patient Transporter to join our team at GMTCare. This role involves transporting patients between their homes and medical facilities in a safe and professional manner.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, and overnights. As a Patient Transporter, you will be responsible for navigating through map software to ensure efficient routes, communicating with dispatch for instructions and updates, and adhering to safety protocols and vehicle maintenance checks.

Requirements
  • At least 22 years of age
  • A minimum of 2 years of driving experience with a valid New Mexico driver's license
  • 10-year clean driving record
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 125+ pounds
  • High School Diploma or GED

You should also have excellent customer service skills, be comfortable operating large vans for extended periods, and possess CPR certification (or be willing to obtain it within 30 days).

Preferred Qualifications
  • 1+ year of experience in non-emergency patient transport
  • 2+ years in a customer service role
  • Bilingual abilities are a strong plus
