Job Description

The Resident Services Specialist plays a vital role in providing exceptional support to residents and ensuring the overall appearance of the community is maintained. This position requires strong customer service skills, the ability to multitask, and a high level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Primary Point of Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for all resident-related inquiries, providing courteous, professional, and prompt responses.
  2. Request Coordination: Coordinate and assist with all requests from residents with the property management team by entering work orders into YARDI.
  3. Customer Service: Answer resident questions, assist with resolving concerns, and provide the highest level of customer service.
  4. Community Appearance: Assist in maintaining the appearance of the community, including inspecting model and vacant homes, and ensuring they are ready for touring prospective clients.
  5. Move-In/Move-Out Process: Administer move-in lease documents and home inspections with residents, coordinate move-outs, and conduct pre- and final inspections.
  6. Account Management: Monitor rental account balances, ensure fees and rent charges are correct in YARDI, and follow up on work orders to ensure completion to the resident's satisfaction.
  7. Additional Duties: Perform other duties as needed to assist the Community Director/Community Manager and/or Leasing team, including participating in monthly functions to assist in resident retention.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Property Management, or related discipline preferred.
  • Previous experience in sales and customer service is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with individuals at all levels.
  • Ability to multitask, handle multiple priorities with tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of professionalism.
