Dialysis Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's HealthCare. As a Dialysis Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement and evaluate care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of care.
- Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Assess patient environment for any safety risks and/or non-compliance with regulatory standards.
- Report any indications of abuse or neglect to medical provider(s), nurse leader, and/or appropriate agency.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
- Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Teach patients/families/caregivers about patient medical condition, patient status, treatment plan, medications and possible side effects, and follow-up measures.
- Translate complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program with an Associate's degree in nursing or clinical field.
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
