Overview

Dialysis Clinic, Inc. is a leading nonprofit dialysis provider seeking top talent to support our mission of prioritizing individualized care for patients with chronic kidney disease. Our dedicated team embodies our purpose of delivering high-quality kidney care, saving lives, and reducing hospitalizations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare dialysis equipment and treatment supplies to ensure quality standards are met
  • Perform hemodialysis treatments according to facility policies and procedures
  • Provide ongoing patient education, training, and health coaching
  • Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physicians and families
  • Administer and chart prescribed medications
  • Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations
  • Participate in patient care conferences, rounds, and chart reviews
  • Document required patient education efforts
  • Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
  • Assist in medication inventory maintenance
  • Lead a small patient care team
  • Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated clinical excellence
  • Desire to collaborate with care teams
  • Ability to problem solve

Education/Training

  • Accredited nursing degree required
  • Dialysis experience not required, job shadow opportunities available
  • DCI provides 3-months of comprehensive training, including classroom group sessions and one-on-one skills training
