Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the general appearance of the building(s) and grounds, adhering to our hotel's maintenance manual and inspection requirements.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, responding to guest needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, caulking, carpet/floor cleaning, and replacing light bulbs.
  • Inspect the property to identify current and potential needs, reporting findings to your supervisor.
  • Ensure the safety and security of the hotel, following key and lock procedures.
  • Assist Housekeeping staff in maintaining guest rooms, including cleaning and replacing vanity/bathroom lights.
  • Comply with all OSHA standards and regulations.
  • Provide special services for guests upon request.
  • Assist in other areas of the hotel as needed, such as collecting/delivering dirty linen to laundry, assisting with laundry, or housekeeping.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a maintenance or customer service role.
  • Knowledge of general hand tools/equipment, lawnmowers, and landscaping tools/equipment is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance and consistently friendly attitude toward guests and staff.
  • Frequent lifting and bending are required.
  • May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
Working Conditions

As a Hotel Maintenance Associate, you will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to heat, cold, wet, and dry conditions. You may be required to work in exterior corridor hotels, and regular scheduled hours may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, you will regularly be required to talk or hear, frequently stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. You will occasionally be required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. You must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
