About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Development and Validation Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our production test area, you will be responsible for developing and implementing test software solutions across multiple test stations and areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain test software to ensure test station availability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Test Operators, Quality Engineering, Process Engineering, and Operations staff to identify and resolve production test-related issues.
  • Work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to support production testing.
  • Troubleshoot failures on microelectronic RF modules by data analysis and visual inspection.
  • Identify trends in defects and work with the appropriate teams to resolve in a timely manner to prevent future defects in the build process.
  • May be required to take on other duties and responsibilities such as test equipment coordination between internal customers.
  • Maintain and improve production test procedures as well as review and comment on all production procedures maintained across the production floor.
Requirements
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years' experience.
  • 4+ years experience with LabVIEW programs and Test Stand or similar programming language.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience preparing and executing procedures.
  • Experience troubleshooting systems using general test equipment.
  • Can operate under minimal supervision and works independently.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills with proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
