About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software/Hardware Integration Engineer to join our Integration Team at Raytheon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for integrating software developed in C++, C, and Java on hardware operating RedHat and Windows within a Layer3 network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and Improvement of our DevSecOps Pipeline: You will be responsible for driving improvement via test automation, creative solutions, and elimination of non-value steps.
  • Emergency Situations: You will be able to handle emergency situations that stop the pipeline and need to be addressed quickly and efficiently.
  • Collaborative Team Setting: You will be productive in a collaborative team setting working with engineers of all levels.
  • Debugging and Stability Issues: You will be able to debug and correct stability issues in our many software baselines.
  • Integration and Testing: You will perform integration and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools that run on a Linux operating system.
  • Maintenance and Enhancement: You will be responsible for maintenance and enhancement of tooling infrastructure.
  • Travel Opportunities: You may have opportunities to travel domestic and international.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Typically requires Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics and 4+ years of experience.
  • Programming Skills: Experience with a modern software language (such as C, C++, or Java).
  • Security Clearance: The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • DevSecOps and Test Automation: Experience with DevSecOps and test automation using Jenkins and Grafana for virtualization.
  • Configuration Management: Experience with ClearCase or other configuration management tool.
  • Linux Operating Systems: Experience with Linux operating systems.
  • Automated Windows Setup: Experience with automated Windows setup, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Hardening Windows Environments: Experience with hardening Windows environments.
  • Virtualization: Experience with virtualization.
  • Monitoring Solutions: Experience with integrating windows environments with monitoring solutions such as Splunk and McAfee TACC.
  • Scripting Languages: Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Bash, Kornshell.
  • Source Code Review: Experience with Collaborator or other source code review tool.
  • Static Analysis: Experience with Coverity or other static analysis tool.
  • Version Control Systems: Experience with GIT, Jira, Artifactory, BitBucket, Coverity, Grafana.
