Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Courtesy Clerk at KTA Super Stores. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and have a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Promptly and efficiently greet, thank, and assist all customers with their shopping needs.
  • Bag items quickly and accurately without damaging any items, following proper bagging procedures.
  • Transport and load groceries into vehicles for customers who require assistance.
  • Replace, retrieve, or price-check items for cashiers and customers.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned, such as assisting with unloading items from shopping carts, retrieving shopping carts, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age to use a case cutter.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to operate a trash baler, freight elevator, and any power-driven equipment.

Working Conditions:

Frequently perform duties in an air-conditioned building with a high volume of customers and coworkers. Occasionally work outdoors to dispose of trash, sweep the parking lot, retrieve shopping carts, and assist customers to their vehicles.

Equipment Use:

Frequently use reusable, plastic, and/or paper bags to bag customers' groceries; broom, dustpan, mop, and cleaning solutions for cleaning duties; shopping carts to assist customers with their groceries.

Qualifications:

  • Basic math skills and ability to multitask to accomplish work on time.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work under minimal or no supervision.
