About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Select Specialty Hospital - Northern Kentucky. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in supporting the recruitment, retention, and development of our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of the Human Resources department, including employee relations, recruitment, and benefits administration.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve employee engagement, retention, and overall work experience.
  • Collaborate with the regional Human Resources Director and corporate HR team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Process and maintain all workers' compensation claims, unemployment requests, FMLA, and leaves of absences.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees, management, and external partners.
  • Develop and maintain employee new hire packets, employment status reports, and other HR-related documents.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure the hospital remains compliant and competitive.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
