Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations within the shipping department.
  • Package and dispatch completed sales orders while adhering to the 40 lb. weight limit established by the shipping manager.
  • Ensure product quality by inspecting for damaged packaging.
  • Assist with shipping freight orders and special requests, including heavy-duty shipments and next-day air deliveries, as well as hazardous materials.
  • Conduct daily maintenance on sales orders to guarantee accurate quantities are shipped, including addressing any incomplete orders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and write small letters and numbers; proficiency in basic arithmetic calculations; and comprehension of written and verbal instructions.
  • Capacity to focus and communicate effectively with management and colleagues regarding shipments.
  • Ability to follow both oral and written instructions related to each shipment.
  • Physical capability to lift objects weighing up to seventy (70) pounds.
  • A strong work ethic and flexibility in scheduling are essential.

Additional Information:

The hourly pay rate is $18.00, with the potential to earn an additional $200 monthly in bonuses.

Work hours are from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
