Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations within the shipping department.
  • Accurately pack and dispatch completed sales orders, adhering to the weight limit of 40 lbs as established by the shipping manager.
  • Ensure product quality by inspecting for damaged packaging.
  • Assist in shipping freight and special orders, including heavy-duty shipments and next-day air deliveries, while handling hazardous materials as required.
  • Conduct daily reviews of sales orders to confirm the correct quantities are shipped, including managing incomplete orders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and write basic letters and numbers; proficiency in arithmetic calculations; and understanding of both written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong concentration skills and effective communication with management and colleagues regarding shipments.
  • Capability to follow both oral and written instructions specific to each shipment.
  • Physical ability to lift items weighing up to seventy (70) pounds.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and flexibility in scheduling.

Additional Information:

The hourly pay rate is $18.00, with the potential to earn an additional $200 monthly in bonuses.

Working hours are from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
