Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations within the shipping department.
  • Accurately pack and dispatch completed sales orders, ensuring compliance with the 40 lb. weight limit established by the shipping manager.
  • Inspect products for quality, identifying any damaged packaging.
  • Assist in shipping freight and special orders, including heavy-duty shipments and next-day air deliveries, while adhering to hazardous material regulations.
  • Conduct daily audits of sales orders to ensure accurate quantities are shipped, including handling incomplete orders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and write basic letters and numbers, perform arithmetic calculations, and comprehend both written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong focus and communication skills to interact effectively with management and colleagues regarding shipments.
  • Capability to follow both oral and written instructions related to shipping tasks.
  • Physical ability to lift items weighing up to seventy (70) pounds.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and flexibility in scheduling.

Additional Information:

The hourly pay rate is $18.00, with the potential to earn an additional $200 monthly in bonuses.

Working hours are from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
