Overview:


The Partner Engineering division is a specialized technical team dedicated to collaborating with our strategic partners to seamlessly integrate Meta's products into their mobile platforms, applications, and devices.

This team has successfully enabled numerous features and services from the Meta suite of applications on mobile partner devices, enhanced media quality across our platforms, and spearheaded the adoption of new mobile operating systems.

As an iOS Partner Solutions Engineer, you will leverage your extensive technical expertise in mobile platforms to lead significant initiatives and launch impactful products in collaboration with our strategic mobile partners.

Your role will involve engaging with some of the most influential companies globally to ensure the compatibility and quality of Meta's applications on iOS, while also working closely with our Product team to enhance these applications.

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical acumen and business insight to drive partner success and elevate the quality of Meta's applications on their devices.


Key Responsibilities:

iOS Partner Solutions Engineer Duties:
Enhance the performance of Meta applications on partner iOS devices by providing constructive feedback to the product team regarding gaps and issues, and proactively addressing them.

Contribute to designated projects and technology areas related to iOS and industry partnerships.

Offer technical guidance to partners and ensure high-quality project, integration, and engagement outcomes with direction from management.

Utilize a diverse set of technical and interpersonal skills to foster productive relationships with partners and address their technical and business requirements.

Maintain effective communication with iOS ecosystem partners and internal stakeholders.

Develop and nurture relationships with both external and internal partners.

Actively participate in cultivating a positive team atmosphere and beyond.

Understand the tools, concepts, and processes related to Meta's applications and their implementation across iOS.

Document and share insights gained during project completion with the team.

Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.

Minimum Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:


Currently pursuing or in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree completion is required prior to joining Meta.

2+ years of relevant industry experience in software engineering or partner engineering.

B.A/B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a comparable degree or experience.

Proficiency in iOS development and familiarity with iOS SDKs and related frameworks.

Software development experience in languages and environments such as Objective C/Swift, and/or Java/PHP.

Experience working with the iOS operating system.

Experience in communicating with external stakeholders.

Familiarity with large codebases, including API design methodologies.

Compensation:
$111,000/year to $173,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
