Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to leverage advanced AI and machine learning methodologies in the development and deployment of innovative generative AI solutions utilizing HCLTech's Llama and other cutting-edge LLMs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of HCLTech's AI and Llama frameworks, along with their foundational implementations.
  • Formulate and implement strategies to enhance the adoption of Llama and other AI/ML offerings.
  • Collaborate with cloud service providers (such as Azure, AWS, GCP) and strategic partners to integrate deep learning and LLM technologies.
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert, influencing both partners and internal teams.
  • Provide thought leadership by promoting HCLTech's AI and Generative AI services through various channels, including blogs, whitepapers, and public speaking engagements.
  • Create reference architectures, sample projects, and other resources for the wider HCLTech developer community.
  • Engage with key partners and the LLM developer community to enhance existing generative AI models for better performance and scalability.
  • Lead the technical strategy and roadmap for long-term partnerships, demonstrating a high degree of autonomy.
  • Proactively identify and address risks related to Responsible AI, ensuring collaboration with necessary cross-functional teams.
  • Effectively plan, manage, and execute projects with minimal oversight.
  • Communicate updates and feedback to both direct and cross-functional teams.
  • Produce clear documentation, including technical specifications and best practice guides, to convey complex AI concepts to diverse audiences.
Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in software engineering, technical consulting, or partner/sales engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in areas such as Deep Learning, LLMs, NLP, Speech, Conversational AI, AI Infrastructure, and model optimization.
  • Proficiency in programming languages including Python, Java, Go, Rust, or C/C++.
  • Experience with at least one LLM, such as Llama, GPT, Claude, or Falcon.
  • Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or JAX.
  • Experience in building cloud solutions across various platforms, including Open Source cloud stacks like Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting to both technical and business audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Computer Science or a related quantitative field (BS, MS, or Ph.D.).
  • Solid understanding of deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
  • Experience in developing models for Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, or Recommender Systems.
  • Proven ability to influence and build consensus among diverse audiences.
  • Experience in collaborating with internal and external partners.
  • Background in data science, including data manipulation, model training, and deployment at scale.
  • Experience deploying machine learning solutions on public cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with launching products or services into the market is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Mobile/IoT for deploying ML models at the edge is a plus.
  • Contributions to Open Source projects or participation in Kaggle competitions are beneficial.
