Key Responsibilities:
  1. Become knowledgeable about all aspects of shipboard organization and services, ports of call, and shore excursions.
  2. Ensure a proper handover from the day shift, including the handover book and important messages.
  3. Produce the Night Report for onboard management.
  4. Reconcile all onboard accounting.
  5. Maximize awareness of each guest's name as soon as possible during each cruise.
  6. Place wake-up calls using guest names.
  7. Receive and post all executed service checks from bars and other outlets into Fidelio for passenger accounting.
  8. Review signature and register reading on each check to ensure proper account posting.
  9. Balance all departmental postings each day.
  10. Prepare billing statements (interim, final) for all guests.
  11. Sort, check, and send reminder letters to guests who have not registered a credit card for their account.
  12. Filing of daily sales checks.
  13. Casino count: Witness and record cash removed from table drop boxes.
  14. Maintain a cash float for passenger traveler checks, making change, etc. This fund to be balanced daily. Shortages are the responsibility of the Night Auditor.
  15. Ensure that all guest complaints received at the Seabourn Square are either settled immediately or referred to management for follow-up. Guests to be promptly advised of all actions taken.
  16. Print and deliver daily newspapers.
  17. Ensure the Seabourn Square is set up according to Seabourn standards.
  18. Generate all budget revenue reports, void logs, and accounting checklists.
  19. Control gift order reconciliation sheets.
  20. Provide guests with an ultimate cruise experience.
  21. Follow Seabourn accounting SOPs.
Qualifications:
  • Fluent English, written and spoken.
  • Previous ships experience with a financial background.
  • Patient, tactful, and courteous.
  • Computer skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and independently.
  • High level of integrity.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all communications, whether written, email, fax, or telephone.
  • Good communication skills and a highly approachable personality.
Physical Demands & Travel:

For the safety of yourself and others on board, certain physical abilities shall be maintained. Must be able to bend, climb, perform repetitive motion, and repetitively heavy lift. Must maintain physical fitness to perform tasks associated with the job.

Travel Requirements:

  • Passport - valid for a minimum of 6 months.
  • Flag state issued seaman book.
  • General flag state or flag state approved marine fitness medical.
  • United States C1/D visa.
  • English Marlin test at a minimum score of 80%.
  • Pre-employment medical examination.
