Job Description

This is an entry-level sales position within the Specialty Containers business unit, offering exposure to all facets of the sales organization. The role provides a broad base for building a sales career or demonstrating ability to move upward within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and communicate pricing changes with sales, cash management, and customers.
  • Manage sales and coordination of orders for various house accounts.
  • Provide forecasting support to the Supply Chain Organization.
  • Coordinate sales data for monthly reporting.
  • Contact select customers regarding status of accounts receivable.
  • Provide miscellaneous support for the Sales and Marketing functions.
  • Assist in price quotations, monitoring contract compliance, and development of promotional events and procurement of promotional items.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.
  • Execute tactical plans based on strategic direction of the business.
  • Commercial and financial analysis.
  • Coordinate and work with plants, R&D group, and Finance to complete specification sheets for stock packages.
  • Assist Market Development Manager in research projects, analyzing segments, building customer, competitive, and product databases.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.
  • Support commercial teams in lead generation and qualification processes.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience, including negotiating, strategy development, and building value propositions.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint software.
  • Previous exposure to manufacturing processes and technical knowledge within the plastics industry is preferred.
  • High energy level with the capacity for learning and learning quickly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally throughout the organization.
  • Strong communications skills (written, spoken, presentation, listening).
