Job Title: MST Therapist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate MST Therapist to join our team at PermiaCare. As a MST Therapist, you will be responsible for providing evidence-based intensive family and community-based treatment for at-risk youth with intensive needs and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct MST assessments, including review of referral information, identifying and engaging key participants, and developing an analysis of the fit of problem behaviors within the ecological context.
  • Engage primary caregiver(s) and other key participants in active change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagement.
  • Implement a problem conceptualization, treatment planning, intervention implementation, outcomes review, and strategy revision procedure using the MST Analytic Process.
  • Maintain clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts that promote peer and supervisory review and feedback, and that demonstrate compliance with the nine MST Principles and the MST Analytic Process.
  • Provide direct clinical treatment using methods compatible with MST principles and practices.
  • Participate in all MST training, supervision, consultation, and MST Therapist development activities.
  • Ensure fidelity to MST service models as promulgated by the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) and MST Services, Inc.
  • Meet unit performance measures or targets.

Requirements:

  • A master's degree in clinical or counseling Psychology, Social Work, or a related subject area.
  • Professional licensure as LPC-Associate, LMFT-Associate, or LMSW under clinical supervision, or full licensure as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the behavioral health field.
  • Valid Texas Driver's license, auto liability insurance, and a driving record acceptable to PermiaCare's insurance requirements.
  • Ability to pass criminal history and background checks, as well as a pre-employment drug screen.
