About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning & Analysis Lead to join our team at Humana. As a key member of the IT Operations team within IT Finance under the Corporate Finance Organization, you will play a critical role in providing financial transparency and support to our leaders and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial information to inform strategic and operational decisions.
  • Reporting and Presentations: Present results to senior management on a regular basis, providing clear and concise financial insights.
  • Trend Analysis: Analyze industry, economic, financial, and market trends to forecast the organization's financial and competitive position.
  • Expense and Cost Analysis: Develop analysis on expenses, costs, investments, cash flow, profits, labor market trends, inflation, interest rates, and exchange rates.
  • Business Case Development: Work with IT leadership on business case analysis and return on investments.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Experience: 5 or more years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting, with a proven track record of leading groups and/or initiatives.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience advising senior leadership on financial strategies and leading special projects.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of complex accounting and financial transactions, as well as executive-level communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • IT Finance Experience: Prior experience working in Finance/Accounting function within an IT organization.
  • Capitalized Technology Labor Costs: Managing capitalized technology labor costs and ledger/balance sheet treatment of the costs.
  • Apptio or Application TCO Experience: Experience with Apptio or application TCO.
  • Transformation Management: Transformation management experience related to project financials.
  • Oracle and/or Oracle Projects Experience: Oracle and/or Oracle Projects experience.
