The Reconstruction Manager will be tasked with the effective management of multiple projects through their reconstruction stages. This position requires maintaining ongoing communication with clients, estimators, contractors, and administrative personnel. The ideal candidate will ensure that all work meets the expected quality standards and adheres to the established contracts and scopes of work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and oversee project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality assurance measures.
- Engage with clients, stakeholders, architects, engineers, and contractors to define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Possess the ability to draft and comprehend estimates while managing mitigation initiatives.
- Conduct site evaluations to monitor project advancement, quality, and safety compliance.
- Identify and address project risks, including modifications to scope, timelines, and financial plans.
- Administer project budgets, tracking expenditures, forecasting costs, and adjusting budgets as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards.
- Coordinate with project teams to guarantee timely completion of work within budget and quality parameters.
- Monitor project progress and provide consistent updates to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors to keep all parties informed about project status and any changes.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures throughout all project activities.
- Oversee project closure tasks, including final inspections, punch lists, and warranty obligations.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Maintain accurate records of all communications related to each project file, ensuring compliance with accounting and administrative protocols.
- Collaborate with the Estimator to ensure all scope items are accounted for.
- Manage cost tracking and create change orders for additional work based on client needs.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in construction management or a related field.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Experience with Xactimate software.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Effective time management abilities.
- Experience in scheduling and project management.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent organizational and verbal communication capabilities.
- Familiarity with permits and inspection processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at various reconstruction stages.
