The Reconstruction Manager will play a pivotal role in managing multiple projects during the reconstruction phase, ensuring adherence to design specifications and project timelines. This individual will maintain ongoing communication with clients, estimators, contractors, and administrative personnel, ensuring that all work meets the required quality standards and complies with contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, architects, engineers, and contractors to define project requirements and objectives.
  • Prepare and interpret estimates while managing mitigation initiatives.
  • Conduct site evaluations to monitor project advancement, quality, and safety protocols.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, including alterations to scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Administer project budgets, tracking expenditures, forecasting costs, and adjusting budgets as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with project teams to guarantee timely completion of work within budget and quality parameters.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with subcontractors to keep all parties informed of project developments and changes.
  • Ensure all project activities align with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage project close-out processes, including final inspections and warranty work.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Maintain accurate records of all communications related to each project file, ensuring compliance with accounting and administrative requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Estimator to ensure all scope items are accounted for.
  • Responsible for tracking expenses and generating change orders for additional client requests.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in construction management or a related field.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Experience with Xactimate software.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective time management abilities.
  • Experience in scheduling and project management.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Excellent organizational and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with permits and inspection processes.
  • Able to manage multiple projects across various reconstruction phases.
