Key Responsibilities- Provide medical leadership and direction to our cancer care team, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care and service.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with hematologic malignancies, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards to discuss complex cases and develop treatment strategies.
- Collaborate with our research team to stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in cancer care and to develop new research initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of our cancer care program, including the creation of policies and procedures, and the implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Board certification or eligibility in hematology or hematology and oncology.
- Successful completion of residency or fellowship training in hematology or hematology and oncology.
- Experience in cancer care, preferably in an accountable care organization setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to stay current with the latest advancements in cancer care and to apply this knowledge in a clinical setting.
